Roberto Rodríguez-Echeverría is a professor of software architecture in the Department of Computer Systems and Telematics Engineering at the University of Extremadura (UEx), Spain. His research interests include software engineering, model-based engineering, data-driven software development, machine learning, web engineering, and legacy software modernization. He is currently the director of the Instituto Universitario de Tecnologías Informáticas Aplicadas (INTIA).
Furthermore, he firmly believes in generating local socioeconomic value through entrepreneurship, which is why he recently created a new UEx spin-off company called MetrikaMedia, which is defined as a SaaS solution for multimedia content measurement.
