Marino Linaje Trigueros is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Systems and Telematics Engineering at the University of Extremadura.
A long-standing member of the Quercus group, his research has evolved from Web Engineering (being co-author of reference methodologies such as WebML/Presto) towards Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and ubiquitous computing. Currently, his work focuses on IoT (Internet of Things) and Mist Computing architectures, seeking to optimize the interaction between smart devices and users in connected environments.
He also stands out for his work in Educational Innovation, researching and applying active learning methodologies in engineering education.
