Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and faculty member at the University of Extremadura since 2001. She is an active member of the Quercus research group, where she focuses her work on Software Engineering, with special emphasis on business process modeling (BPMN), ontologies, and the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques (Machine Learning and Deep Learning) in software systems.
