Cristina Vicente-Chicote received her degree in Computer Science from the University of Murcia, Murcia, Spain, in 1997, and her Ph.D. (European Mention) from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Cartagena, Spain, in 2005. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Telematics Systems at the University of Extremadura, Badajoz, Spain, where she belongs to the Quercus Software Engineering Group. Her current research interests include the areas of model-driven engineering, component-based software development, software product lines, and self-adaptive systems development. She is a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Technical Committee on Software Engineering for Robotics and Automation, and a member of the Spanish Research Networks on Model-Driven Software Development and Software Product Lines.
